Hi, to all users!

Since I have this video game, always wants to have a version where you can see the original series Macross, and the film version.

So I decided to make a mod, which emulate the TV series and film.

Here are the images (beta) of the new mod for VOXP.

Opinions?

the HUD changes are pretty cool!

give us a link to Download when its ready I would like to see the DYRL MOD!! Very Happy

Hello Razor

Of course you can download it once it is completed.

New features in this mod:

1-New HUD optimized for TFT screens (LCD) with a brightness added, which simulates a semblance of SCI-FI anime of the 80's in High Quality.
(Now you can see really when missiles come and proximity) In the mod there is various types of locks on and targets object reticule. You can choose the one you like.

2-Background music of the TV original series and Film.

3- New sound FX (the main gun charge sound was fixed adding the clasic reverberation sound)

4- New opening movie using the Macross PS2 Intro

5- New avatars/icons with DYRL?/TVA characters

6- New skins adding the DYRL? SKULL squad: Hikaru Ichijo(red) - Max Jenius(blue) - Hayao Kakizaki(green). VF-1S (Plus i added the previous skins of VF-1A & VF-1AS Brownie Made by Gabe, and the VF-1SS Fokker/Hikaru. Also the SDF-1 TVA)

Added the SDF-1 Macross skin in his DYRL? version

7- Remake of various explosions, partially modified.

At the moment that's all. Soon there will be updates, perhaps some video demonstration

As for playability there will be no difference. The difference is, in making the game more closely resembles the PS2 game where you can choose, play in the movie version or the TV version.

Hello everyone!

I leave here the (beta) mod Macross DYRL?/TVA for VOXP. Isn´t finished at all. But works perfectly. For reasons of space and to make more rapid downloading, the music has been removed and set aside for a subsequent download.

And remember, if you are going to share it, just mention my name. Smile

Thanks Razor, there is still much work ahead. Selecting the correct images requires a lot of patience. But I will step constant. Now I am working to change the speed panel and reduce the MB music files.

Hello everyone!

The Mod is finished!! I split the mod in two types: the DYRL? version and TVA (TVA in work progress) The installer come in spanish, but is easy to install. The music finally it´s fixed and the MB was reduced to 100 MB only! The trick for this is reduce the Khz 44.000 to 22.000 Khz in wav files. The game is all ready whit weapons unlocked, so you can play in ACE Wink

. There are mayor modifications and others are minors. As default I put the VF-1AS Hikaru Type the VF-1S and VF-SS (all hikaru type). You will find new images when you finish a level or win a 1 vs 1 battle. The new avatars/icons characters are only the basic in DYRL?: Roy - Max - Hikaru - Misa - Millia - Breetai - Exedore - Bodolza & Quamzin (Kyron) Others has not included because in´t have enought time. So this is a v1.1. I will upgrade the mod in the future. Many skins are renders form others mods. The main changes realized are the HUD, music, fonts and sounds.
